3. Aaron Rodgers

Stat line: 21/25, 231 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT, 128.1 passer rating

This wasn’t the best performance we have seen Aaron Rodgers have this year. No, he’s had some better games with bigger numbers. He also made an uncommon mistake on his interception but he once again showed why he should be MVP.

Rodgers can play in any type of weather and play well.

Only four incomplete passes on a night when the ball was slick, Rodgers only misfired once, on the interception.

With Patrick Mahomes having a poor performance against the Falcons, Rodgers may have just pulled ahead in the race for MVP.

He has stated his desire to earn both his third MVP and the number one seed. Now it seems they may go hand in hand. If Rodgers can put together one more MVP-level game against the division-rival Bears, he should earn both his third MVP and the number one seed.

The four touchdowns thrown on Sunday night, make 44 on the year only one off his career-high. Considering how well Rodgers plays against the Bears, he should at the very least, tie his current high of 45.

He started the season with lofty goals. Now Rodgers is only one game away from giving himself the best opportunity to obtain them.
