Not to be completely overshadowed by the rookie AJ Dillon, Aaron Jones had himself quite the game.

Jones gained 94 yards on only 10 carries and had the longest play of the game with his 59-yard run to answer the Titans’ third-quarter touchdown.

The long gain may not have been if Titans head coach Mike Vrabel had a better look at the replay. Jones clearly stepped out of bounds after picking up the first down. But the play was on the Packers’ sideline, not the Titans’, and Green Bay rushed to the line to avoid the challenge.

Jones’ day might have been a little bigger had he not got dinged up a little bit on a short pass. Jones was hit in the lower back/hip area and had to leave the game for a spell, paving the way for Dillon’s monster day.

With the 94 yards Sunday night, Jones now has back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and is 22 yards short of a new career high.

Like Davante Adams, what makes his season even more spectacular is he missed two games. Jones’ previous career-highs were set in a 16-game season.

Green Bay’s backfield was already solid with Jones and Jamaal Williams. Now with the emergence of Dillon, they may have the deepest backfield in the NFL.
