2. Los Angeles Rams

A team that could give the Packers a few problems? The Los Angeles Rams.

That’s assuming Jared Goff is healthy and the Rams aren’t starting John Wolford at quarterback. The offense struggled to get going in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals and only kicked field goals. The defense helped out with a pick-six and safety.

But if the Rams defeat the Seattle Seahawks next week, we can assume Goff is back in the lineup.

Defensively, the Rams can make life difficult for the Packers. They would test an offensive line sans David Bakhtiari; Los Angeles finished the regular season with an impressive 53 sacks. The Rams’ passing defense ranks first in the NFL and they also have a balanced offense.

The interior of the Packers’ offensive line has been strong this season but would be tested by All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald. That would be a key matchup.

If there’s a positive, it’s that the Rams have been inconsistent. They had impressive wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks, but also tough losses against the then-winless New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.

Another advantage is that bad weather could slow down an excellent Rams pass rush.

However, the Rams are a team the Packers might prefer to avoid in the postseason.
