Adrian Amos played great for the Packers on Sunday

Winner #2: Adrian Amos

Adrian Amos has been a model of consistency since the Packers signed him before the 2019 season. He’s been a top-five player for Green Bay’s defense all season and you can argue that he is only behind Za’Darius Smith and Jaire Alexander.

Amos had another great game against his former team, a team that he seems to love to make plays against. We heard all of the talk last season about Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Amos switching teams and it has never been more clear that the Packers made the right decision.

I don’t think anyone could have predicted that Amos would be as good as he has been in a Packers uniform. He had some solid years in Chicago but he is the type of player that has gotten better each season in the NFL and I feel he has taken his play to another level since joining Green Bay.

With the Packers riding high into the playoffs, Amos is someone opposing teams are going to have to plan around. The defense has played much better compared to earlier in the season and Amos and the great play of the secondary is a big reason why. Amos, Darnell Savage, and Alexander are all capable of raising each others’ play and it has shown in recent weeks.
