2. Offensive line

Stat line: 1 sack given up

Should Aaron Rodgers win his third MVP, he owes a lot of praise to the offensive line. He finished the season tied for the least amount of times sacked and was given plenty of time to throw all season long.

Despite the constant turnover in the starting five, Rodgers was barely touched, with Aaron Jones rushing for over 1,000 yards along the way.

As I touched on earlier, the line was already given a big blow before the game even started. Starting left tackle David Bakhtiari was lost for the rest of the year and the team only had one more practice to figure out who would replace him.

That isn’t the most ideal situation to be in but Billy Turner, Elgton Jenkins, Corey Linsley, Lucas Patrick, and Rick Wagner made sure his loss would hardly be noticed. Rodgers had a clean pocket most of the game and was sacked only once.

The running game did take a hit in this game. After rushing for over 180 yards in the first game, Green Bay was held under 100 yards. Akiem Hicks playing in this one had a lot to do with that.

But, they stopped Khalil Mack and Hicks from ruining the game plan the way they can.

The constant shuffling hasn’t slowed the play of the line once. This unit plays hard and for each other. The tasks will get tougher in the playoffs and you can bet these guys will be ready.
