Packers: Three ways they can make Super Bowl run
3. Win with offense
If this is to be the Packers’ year, they will need to win with their biggest strength. And that’s the offense.
Matt LaFleur’s offense has been nothing short of unstoppable this season. Of the 11 offensive players named first-team All-Pros, four of them are Packers.
That includes Aaron Rodgers, who looks certain to secure his third MVP award after throwing a career-high 48 touchdown passes. Davante Adams caught 18 of them in a Pro Bowl and All-Pro career-year.
The Packers will be without one of their All-Pros, left tackle David Bakhtiari, for the remainder of the season, but the offensive line has shown they can still perform at a high level even without Bakhtiari in the lineup.
Averaging a league-best 31.8 points per game, if this offense is at its best, there’s very little anyone can do to stop it.
With Rodgers at his MVP best, this offense is the key to the Packers bringing the Lombardi Trophy home this year.
If the offense can continue to dominate, the defense builds on the late-season performances, and special teams decides not to cost the Packers each game, this team could very well be on the way to a special Super Bowl run.
Go! Pack! Go!
