Elgton Jenkins

In his sophomore season, Elgton Jenkins has solidified himself as one of the best young offensive linemen in the NFL. Jenkins has miraculously executed at a high level while playing all five offensive linemen positions during the season.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have the highest regard for their standout player, allowing him to play center as Pro Bowler Corey Linsley missed some time this season. Trusting the second-year lineman to assist Rodgers in navigating the offense is quite remarkable.

Jenkins’ versatility is what makes him an outstanding playmaker and a tough challenge for opposing defenses to break down.

In just Jenkins’ second year, he has made the Pro Bowl as a top-three guard in the NFC.

This weekend’s matchup against the Rams will show why Jenkins has been appreciated by his peers so highly.

The Rams defense is as stout as a defense can be.

They allowed the fewest amount of points, total yards, and touchdowns in the regular season. This is majorly due to the extremely powerful defensive line of the Rams. Both Aaron Donald (13.5) and Leonard Floyd (10.5) rank inside the top-10 in sacks.

Jenkins will have his hands full and is a major key in protecting Aaron Rodgers.
