Three-step plan for the Packers to defeat the Rams.

Aiming to make consecutive trips to the NFC Championship Game, the Green Bay Packers must first overcome the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams enter the contest on the back of an upset road victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the wild-card round in an unusual game that saw starting quarterback Jared Goff begin as the backup before entering the game.

There are plenty of reasons for concern for the Packers. The Rams have a great defense, run the ball well, and look well-matched to create some problems at Lambeau Field. However, the Packers are the top seed for a reason. They were the NFC’s number one team throughout the regular season and proved particularly hard to beat at Lambeau Field.

With a week of additional rest to get healthy and prepare for this game, the Packers are in position to make a Super Bowl run. It starts with the NFL’s first divisional round matchup of the weekend. A win would make Green Bay the first team to punch its ticket to the conference final, where it would await one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or New Orleans Saints at Lambeau.

Standing in the Packers’ way are the Rams, but never fear, as here’s a three-step plan to victory.
