Predicting five Packers who have played their last game in Green Bay

Kevin King’s time with the Packers may be over after four seasons
Player #4: Kevin King
Kevin King is one of the more divisive players on the Packers’ roster. Some people think he is injury-prone and is downright bad when on the field. Others think King is a solid number two corner who you can rely on more often than not.
I fall somewhere towards the middle of this but leaning more towards King being an above-average corner. I don’t think King will ever become a true number one cornerback but I do think he is more than capable of being a solid second corner.
However, similar to what I said about Chandon Sullivan earlier, King’s lasting impression on Packers fans is him getting torched by Tampa Bay in the NFC Championship. Including two key plays that can directly be pointed to in costing Green Bay the game.
Even though the call was horrible, getting beat by Scotty Miller before the half for a touchdown was inexcusable. As was getting flagged for the DPI that would’ve given Green Bay one more chance on offense.
Both of these things, along with years of injuries, may prove to be Kevin King’s undoing. On paper, King was a nice prospect coming out of Washington. His size made him intriguing being 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds and his cover skills can be really solid at times but it may be time to let him go after all of his ups and downs.
