One of the biggest talking points for the Green Bay Packers this past season was the future of Aaron Jones. Jones was drafted by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2017 draft. For the first couple of years of his career, Jones dealt with injuries and limited playing time.

Jones started his 2017 season off by not playing very much in his first three games. It was in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys where he first burst on to the scene. In that game, Jones accumulated 125 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries.

It didn’t take him long to have another great game, two weeks later against the New Orleans Saints, Jones once again went over the century mark. He rushed for 135 yards on 17 carries and found the end zone as well.

After that, his 2017 took a downward spiral as he never received more than five carries in a game in which he played. Jones also missed two games due to an MCL injury. Fast forward to 2018 and Jones would miss the first two weeks of the season due to suspension.

The 2018 season was when people really started clamoring for Jones to be the feature back. He was receiving more carries than in 2017 but was still splitting them quite a bit. Jones would only finish the season with 12 games played as he would miss the final two games due to the same MCL being injured once again.

Aaron Jones truly broke out in 2019 going over 1,000 yards for the first time and became quite the dual-threat RB. As 2020 came to an end Jones did miss two games but still had a great year. However, the writing may be on the wall for the star RB as his price-range and Green Bay’s cap space seem to be in two different places.

So let’s look at three destinations that make the most sense for Jones to go to.
