Aaron Jones a great fit for the Jets and Packers fans would be happy to see him in the AFC

Team #2: New York Jets

The Jets have one of the worst rosters in the entire league and make no mistake about it, they will probably still be bad in 2021. They finished 2020 with an awful record of 2-14 and have holes all over the place.

What makes Jones a possible target for the Jets is all of their cap space. Spotrac has them projected with an insane $72 million in space so expect them to be big players come free agency.

The Jets are currently picking number two in the NFL draft and they are widely expected to draft a QB at that spot. Having a QB on their rookie deal is huge in the NFL currently and many teams seem to go that route and then build around the QB.

Adding Jones would be a major upgrade at the running back position for New York, as they currently lack a franchise back. It’s no secret that many players go to the highest bidder, the running back position has such a short shelf life that many cash in when they can.

With Jones hiring his new agency a while back he will probably be looking to get the best deal that he can and get that big contract that he deserves.
