It’s officially the month of the 2021 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers have been quiet in free agency so far but enter the draft with double-digit picks once again.

They will have to wait a while in the first round barring a trade as they don’t pick until No. 29 overall.

As has been the case often over the past year, wide receivers are regularly mocked to the Packers. Will it finally happen?

FanSided, Brad Weiss

Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

The Packers will likely be without David Bakhtiari for at least some time in 2021 as he makes a recovery from a torn ACL. They also released Rick Wagner earlier this offseason. It makes sense both short and long term to draft a tackle.

FanSided’s Brad Weiss has Texas’ Samuel Cosmi going to the Packers in the first round of his mock draft. Weiss believes Cosmi could start at right tackle as a rookie but is talented enough to eventually play on the left side if needed.

The Draft Network, Drae Harris

Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU

After not drafting a receiver at all in 2020, will Brian Gutekunst use a first-round pick at the position this year? Drae Harris of The Draft Network believes so with Green Bay selecting LSU’s Terrace Marshall Jr. in the first round.

Harris believes that Marshall, who put up 1,402 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in his final two seasons at LSU, would be a perfect complement for Davante Adams in the passing game. And it’s hard to disagree.

CBS Sports, Ryan Wilson

Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports also has the Packers drafting a wide receiver on Day 1. This time it’s Florida’s Kadarius Toney.

No matter where he lines up on offense, Toney can make big plays with the ball in his hands. Matt LaFleur would have another explosive offensive player to work with and find creative ways to use.

A great fit in LaFleur’s offense, Toney could help the Packers in many ways right away.

NFL.com, Adam Rank

Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

NFL.com’s Adam Rank doesn’t predict what will happen but instead went with what he thinks should happen with each pick in the draft. For the Packers, Rank has them getting some more help for the offensive line.

As noted earlier, Bakhtiari’s injury means depth is a concern at tackle. Rank has the Packers drafting Virginia Tech’s Christian Darrisaw, who is one of the best tackles in the class.
