49. . G. Green Bay Packers. Kendrick Green. 4. player

The trade earlier on means the Packers don’t have a third-round pick but they still have two in the fourth. The attention turns to the offense by selecting talented offensive lineman Kendrick Green out of Illinois.

Green would give the Packers flexibility along the offensive line. He has experience playing at center so could be an immediate replacement for Corey Linsley. The other option would be to put Green at guard, allowing one of Elgton Jenkins or Lucas Patrick to move to center.

A talented interior lineman who could become an immediate starter for the Packers, Green would be an excellent choice in the fourth round.

49. . WR. Green Bay Packers. Jaelon Darden. 4. player

Despite again avoiding the wide receiver position in the earlier rounds, the Packers can still find a difference-maker at the position in the fourth round with Jaelon Darden out of North Texas. As Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network writes, he’s “a natural in making the first arriving defender miss”.

With his speed, explosiveness and ability after the catch, get the ball in his hands and let him make plays. Darden could also compete to be the kick returner, an area the Packers have struggled in recent years.

Green Bay closes out the fourth round by adding a slot receiver who can also help on special teams.
