We now know when the Green Bay Packers will learn their 2021 regular-season schedule.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the schedule for the new season will be released in a few weeks on Wednesday, May 12.

It will be the biggest regular season to date with the addition fo the 17th game for each team.

It means Green Bay, along with the rest of the NFC, will play one more road game than home game. This will rotate every year, which means in 2022, the Packers will get an additional home game.

We know who the Packers will be playing later this year, we just don’t yet know which order these games will be played in, as well as the dates and times.

Packers 2021 opponents

Home: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Football Team

Road: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs

On the Packers’ 17 games, 13 will be against opponents who have reached the playoffs in at least one of the past two seasons. It includes the Kansas City Chiefs, the AFC winners the past two seasons and Super Bowl champions in 2019, as well as ’19 Super Bowl runners-up, the San Francisco 49ers.

No team received a tougher 17th game than the Packers. Under the new rules, their additional game comes on the road against the Chiefs. It should make for a fascinating contest between two of the biggest stars in the NFL.

We can assume that game, along with many others on Green Bay’s schedule, will be in a primetime slot. And there are many other candidates such as games against the Rams, Ravens, Saints, and 49ers.

Which games are you most looking forward to on the Packers’ 2021 regular-season schedule?
