Packers news today: Predictions for draft, surprising first-round picks
Four. More. Days.
Last year’s draft was considered one for the future for the Green Bay Packers. And we could begin to see it pay off in 2021.
While the hope is Jordan Love won’t need to play a meaningful snap anytime soon while Aaron Rodgers is still playing at an MVP level, we should see more from AJ Dillon, Josiah Deguara, Kamal Martin, and others this upcoming season.
Dillon should see an increased role with Jamaal Williams gone. Deguara is going to be heavily involved once he’s healthy. Martin could be a starter in Joe Barry’s defense. And don’t forget the team drafted three interior offensive linemen. Jon Runyan Jr. should compete for a starting job over the summer.
Last year’s draft has the potential to exceed expectations.
