The Green Bay Packers could still target available free agents if their needs are not met in tonight’s NFL draft.

Despite the Packers playing in consecutive NFC Championship games, their fanbase is still unhappy. They feel the organization hasn’t sacrificed their future for the present.

Instead of drafting and signing players for a need-standard, Packers fans just want one season where the organization goes out and takes the best available players; no matter the circumstances. “GO ALL IN SEASON”.

With that being said, the Packers do have some positions they need to address. After losing key players in the off-season such as Corey Linsley, a focus for the Packers will be the offensive line.

If the Packers are unsatisfied with their offensive linemen additions in the draft, here are some free agent O-linemen they could target:

Offensive linemen

Mitchell Schwartz

Schwartz has been a stellar RT for nine seasons starting in 134 out of 144 games. The former Pro-Bowler would be a good fit to play opposite of David Bakhtiari.

Alejandro Villanueva

Another veteran O-linemen that would fit the Packers scheme. His ability to open gaps at the line of scrimmage was evident for all those years will Le’Veon Bell.

Austin Reiter

If the Packers are unable to address the departure of Corey Linsley the way they’d like to in the draft, Austin Reiter would be a viable plan B. Reiter was the starting C of the Chiefs during their Super Bowl run. Reiter’s experience would be crucial to help prosper a likely young offensive line.

Wide receivers

The Packers have been unable to get Aaron Rodgers some new offensive weapons down the field in recent years.

If the Packers are unable to address their want for an upgrade at WR through the draft, here are some free-agent wide receivers they could target:

Golden Tate

Tate has been declining over the past couple of years. Is that due to his physical ability or the lack of QB talent he’s been running routes for? Rodgers would love a guy like Tate who is unafraid of the big moments and is extremely capable of being dangerous.

Dede Westbrook

Westbrook flies under the radar due to his lack of numbers. It’s unfair to assume that Westbrook doesn’t have what it takes to be an NFL wide receiver because he’s been playing with C-tier quarterbacks. Rodgers could really bring out the potential in a guy like Westbrook.

Damiere Byrd

Byrd was able to string out a solid outing last season while playing for an inaccurate QB in Cam Newton. Byrd could play a Tavon Austin-type role by using his speed in gadget plays.
