Packers 2021 schedule release: Predictions for each game, final record
Week 14: Chicago Bears
Will Andy Dalton be starting? Or will it be Justin Fields? Either way, despite the Bears putting together a solid offseason and potentially improving this year, the Packers are still the better team. With this game being played at Lambeau Field, Matt LaFleur continues his undefeated record against the Packers’ oldest rivals. Green Bay 30, Chicago 17 (10-3)
Week 15: at Baltimore Ravens
Green Bay’s lack of investment along the defensive line and at inside linebacker could really hurt them in this game against the run-first Ravens. Averaging over 190 rushing yards per game last season, the Ravens dominate as the Packers put together one of their worst performances under LaFleur in a disappointing loss. It’s just one of those games. Baltimore 35, Green Bay 14 (10-4)
Week 16: Cleveland Browns
Unfortunately, it won’t be a merry Christmas for the Packers. An easy opponent no more, the Browns are for real in 2021 and will pull off an upset at Lambeau Field. The Packers have won three straight against the Browns, including with Brett Hundley at quarterback four years ago. But a talented Cleveland team gets its first win at Lambeau since 2005. Cleveland 26, Green Bay 24 (10-5)
Week 17: Minnesota Vikings
The Packers and Vikings have had some fun battles at Lambeau Field in recent years, and this will be no different. Green Bay’s defense needs to do a much better job against Dalvin Cook than we saw a year ago. Unfortunately for Adam Thielen, he doesn’t get to leave Lambeau with a win. Green Bay 27, Minnesota 24 (11-5)
Week 18: at Detroit Lions
For some reason, the Packers have real trouble winning at Ford Field, no matter how good the Lions are that season. They’ve lost four of their past eight games at Detroit, and three of the four wins were anything but convincing. One required a Hail Mary as time expired, while the previous two wins came from poor performances. That all changes this time with an impressive road win, good enough to wrap up the NFC North. Green Bay 30, Detroit 20 (12-5)
