Packers: Four must-see games on 2021 regular-season schedule

All of a sudden, the 2021 NFL season doesn’t feel too far away. The Green Bay Packers have made their selections in the draft and they now know their regular-season schedule in full.

Thankfully, football isn’t played on paper, because the NFC’s No. 1 seed from last year has been hit with what looks to be an incredibly difficult schedule featuring a number of potential playoff opponents. According to ESPN’s Mike Clay, Green Bay has the 10th-toughest strength of schedule in the league.

With Aaron Rodgers, though, the Packers have the roster built for these huge matchups and capable of beating any team in the league. If he returns this year, this team can make another deep playoff run no matter which opponents are put in front of them.

A tougher schedule also means we get to look forward to many must-see showdowns this season. Let’s look at the top four.

4. Packers vs. Seahawks (Week 10)

Any time the Packers and Seahawks meet, it’s must-see.

This has been one of the league’s top rivalries over the past decade. Few teams have been as consistent as Green Bay and Seattle. Since 2010, both the Packers and Seahawks have made the postseason in nine of a possible 11 seasons.

In that time, they’ve met head-to-head on eight occasions, including twice in the postseason. The Packers are 4-3 in those games, with each team also having one head-to-head victory in the playoffs.

After missing each other last season, the two teams collide again in 2021 and it should be a great contest. It will be the first meeting since Green Bay eliminated Seattle at Lambeau Field in the divisional round a couple of years ago.

While there have been questions about whether Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson will remain with their current teams, let’s hope they both do. It will set the stage for another chapter in this great rivalry.
