1. Packers at Chiefs (Week 9)

Two of the league’s biggest stars will collide in Week 9. Last season, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes threw for a combined 9,039 yards, 86 touchdowns, and just 11 interceptions. Eight quarterbacks had more interceptions than Rodgers and Mahomes combined.

Needless to say, the first head-to-head showdown between these all-world quarterbacks already makes this one of the NFL’s biggest games of the season.

That’s before we mention the offensive firepower on both sides. Kansas City has All-Pros in tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill, along with talented second-year running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. They’ve strengthened their offensive line by trading for Pro Bowl tackle Orlando Brown Jr.

For the Packers, wide receiver Davante Adams is coming off a first-team All-Pro season after catching a league-high 18 touchdowns. Running back Aaron Jones was a Pro Bowler after putting up over 1,000 yards rushing for the second year in a row. Left tackle David Bakhtiari is a five-time All-Pro and guard Elgton Jenkins made the Pro Bowl in just his second season.

In terms of team success, the Chiefs are back-to-back AFC champions and won the Super Bowl in 2019. The Packers have knocked on the door with consecutive NFC title game appearances.

Perhaps a Super Bowl preview, Packers-Chiefs in Week 9 could be the game of the year.
