1. Packers have a great roster and coach

Also unlike many other young quarterbacks who start immediately for teams coming off losing seasons, Love would be entering a great situation in Green Bay. This roster is loaded with talent having made consecutive NFC Championship Games, and his head coach is one of the best offensive minds in the game.

Whereas Mike McCarthy often struggled to adjust once Rodgers was out of action, you can bet Matt LaFleur would find ways to play to Love’s strengths in his system.

Love would also be entering an offense featuring first-team All-Pros Davante Adams and David Bakhtiari, and Pro Bowlers Aaron Jones and Elgton Jenkins. An offense boasting a strong ground game and third-round pick Amari Rodgers, who will become his quarterback’s best friend with his ability after the catch.

Will Love match Rodgers’ 2020 MVP level of play? No, but he can still be productive in this offense and help the Packers win games.

Green Bay has struggled in previous seasons without Rodgers. That doesn’t have to be true in 2021 if he decides not to play. Love is a first-round talent who has spent the past year developing his game while learning from one of the best to ever throw a football. He’d also be entering one of the most favorable situations in the league for a young QB with a great roster around him and an excellent head coach.

Rodgers makes the Packers Super Bowl contenders, but this team can still win a lot of games with Love.
