We are looking forward to another successful season from the Green Bay Packers and hope to see three-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers stay in Green Bay.

With a tough schedule set for the upcoming season, Green Bay has their work cut out for them.

With that being said, Green Bay will see plenty of prime-time action. It will be a fun season for the Packers with several big-time matchups.

The following will break down the most exciting non-divisional matchups for Green Bay in the upcoming season.

Week 1: at Saints

The fun will begin early for the Packers as they face the Saints in Week 1. Though Drew Brees is retired, Jameis Winston will bring his A-game, and the Packers should not underestimate him.

Even if Winston doesn’t get the starting position, the talented rookie Ian Book from Notre Dame is also a big-time playmaker. Assuming Rodgers stays, it will be a fun matchup either way. Both offenses are very solid with powerhouse running backs and shifty wide receivers.

For the Packers, Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Davante Adams, Devin Funchess, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Robert Tonyan, and Amari Rodgers will be the players to watch. As for the Saints, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Deonte Harris are the impact players.

Both defenses are also loaded with talent. The defensive playmakers from both teams will bring the heat.

Za’Darius Smith, Kenny Clark, Preston Smith, Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Jaire Alexander, Darnell Savage, De’Vondre Campbell, and Eric Stokes will bring the pressure for the Packers. The Saints defense will also play tough with Demario Davis, David Onyemata, Malcolm Jenkins, P.J. Williams, and Shaq Smith.

What a terrific way to begin the season with these two juggernaut teams going head to head.
