One of the strengths the Green Bay Packers have is star players at important positions like quarterback, tackle, wide receiver, and cornerback.

Having superstars capable of making game-changing plays across the roster has helped this team win a lot of football games over the past two seasons, including a couple of playoff victories that has led them to the NFC Championship Game twice.

Ahead of the 2021 season, Pro Football Focus has ranked the top 50 players in the NFL. Four Packers make the list, and all of them are inside the top 15 of the rankings.

Four Packers make PFF’s top 15

The first Packer featured in the rankings isn’t reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers, but rather his favorite target Davante Adams.

Adams is ranked as the fifth-best player in the NFL in PFF’s rankings. Rodgers isn’t far behind in 10th spot. Jaire Alexander, Green Bay’s best defensive player, makes the rankings at 14th, and five-time All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari is one position behind in 15th.

That’s four Packers inside the top 15 best players in the entire league. That’s almost a third of the top 15. The Kansas City Chiefs are the only other team to have more than one player featured inside the top 15. They have two: QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce.

However, there is some uncertainty with two of the Packers’ four entering 2021.

Bakhtiari is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered late in December, putting his status in doubt for the start of the season. Rodgers, meanwhile, no-showed OTAs and minicamp and it’s unclear if he’ll return to the Packers this season.

But even without Bakhtiari and Rodgers, the Packers still have more players in the top 15 of PFF’s rankings than every team outside of the Chiefs. But if Rodgers does play and Bakhtiari returns during the season, all four will be key to the team’s success again in 2021.
