Miami Dolphins

Under head coach Brian Flores, the Miami Dolphins look to be a team moving in the right direction. Despite going just 5-11 in Flores’ first season as coach, the team showed real promise and their arrow was pointing up. That proved to be true as in 2020, they went 10-6 and barely missed out on the playoffs.

That’s despite having some uncertainty at quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick started seven games but was then replaced with first-round pick Tua Tagovailoa.

Perhaps the Dolphins have no interest in a Rodgers trade as they drafted Tagovailoa only last year. But imagine Rodgers on this Dolphins roster. He could turn them into Super Bowl contenders immediately.

Miami also ticks a lot of boxes in a possible trade. They play in the AFC, which is a plus, and also will enter 2022 with a lot of draft picks. If the Dolphins would be willing to put a package together featuring some of those picks, along with a player, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst should listen.

Now, again, there’s every chance the Packers won’t even need to consider trading Rodgers. He might return for training camp. But if his future truly is away from Green Bay, the team should consider its options. If that means trading Rodgers, there are many potential landing spots that would make sense.
