And so it continues.

The Aaron Rodgers drama has been ongoing all offseason, and his future with the Green Bay Packers remains uncertain. During a television appearance this week while on a golf course for The Match 4 event, Rodgers didn’t put an end to any speculation about his future.

During the broadcast, Brian Anderson of TNT asked Rodgers whether he’ll be playing for the Packers when they meet the division-rival Chicago Bears in Week 6.

Rodgers’ response? “I don’t know, B.A. We’ll see,” Rodgers said.

When asked about the season opener, Rodgers jokingly pretended he wasn’t aware of what was happening on that date.

With training camp beginning in a few weeks, it remains unclear whether Aaron Rodgers’ holdout will continue after he missed both the team’s voluntary OTAs then mandatory minicamp.

Maybe he was just having some fun while being interviewed during the golf event, or maybe he still wants his future to be a mystery. Either way, it’s been a tiring offseason for Packers fans, who just want to know whether their three-time MVP will return in 2021 or whether it’s time for a transition at quarterback.

In the meantime, 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love has been getting valuable reps with the starters, so it can be turned into a positive situation. The longer Rodgers sits out, the more opportunities Love will get on the practice field.

Only Rodgers and those close to him will truly know his plans for 2021 and beyond.

Maybe he wants the team to not know his plans. Maybe he wants a new deal. Only Rodgers has the answer to that. But unfortunately, the fans don’t know what’s next for their star QB, making it a tough offseason.

And with only two more months remaining before the Packers’ season opener, we still have no idea who will be playing quarterback.
