Top five player ratings for the Packers in “Madden NFL 22”.

With the “Madden NFL 22” video game being released this week, they have revealed their player ratings in full.

There aren’t too many arguments to be had about the Green Bay Packers‘ overall ratings in the game. A few player ratings are way off what they should be but, for most players, they are spot on.

When it comes to the top five for the Packers, it’s not all that surprising.

1. Davante Adams (99 overall)

Adams joins the “99 Club” after his phenomenal All-Pro season. He was the best wide receiver in football last year and that has been reflected in this year’s game. No other receiver is part of the “99 Club” with Adams.

So if you want an unstoppable offense to play with, just roll with the Packers and throw Adams’ way all day long. Getting to play with his MVP QB doesn’t hurt, either. And on that note…

2. Aaron Rodgers (96 overall)

Maybe it seems a little harsh that the reigning MVP has a 96 overall and not a perfect 99. But it’s probably fair. If there’s one criticism, it’s that he ranks third among QBs behind Tom Brady.

That’s despite the fact Rodgers threw 48 touchdowns with only five interceptions last season compared to Brady’s 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Sure, Brady had a great season and played well in his team’s Super Bowl victory, but it’s also fair to say the Bucs’ defense making three sacks and 10 QB hits also played a huge part in that.

3. David Bakhtiari (96 overall)

Yet another Packers offensive player with a great rating. Bakhtiari is the top-rated tackle in the game and for good reason. He was named a first-team All-Pro for the second time in his career in 2020. He’s been part of one of the All-Pro teams five years running.

The Packers will be hoping he can return quickly from his torn ACL in real football, but you can play with Bakhtiari at left tackle right away in “Madden”.

4. Jaire Alexander (95 overall)

Another Packers star coming off an All-Pro season is 24-year-old Alexander, who has quickly become one of the league’s very best at cornerback. Among corners, he has the third-highest overall rating.

Alexander saved some of his best football for the playoffs last season, the sign of a great player. According to Pro Football Focus, he was targeted seven times in the postseason, allowing two catches for a total of 16 yards, while also making two interceptions and allowing a passer rating of 0.0.

5. Aaron Jones (91 overall)

Jones has the sixth-highest overall rating among running backs, highlighting just how great a player he has become. The Pro Bowler has put up 2,188 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns over the past two seasons.

With Adams, Rodgers, Bakhtiari, and Jones, there’s no reason to ever play with any team other than the Packers in “Madden NFL 22”.
