Packers stars David Bakhtiari and Aaron Jones are part of the NFL Top 100 list this year.

As the NFL Top 100 Players of 2021 list continues to be revealed, two more Green Bay Packers players have made the rankings.

Edge rusher Za’Darius Smith and cornerback Jaire Alexander were revealed in the NFL Top 100 last week, and they have now been joined by two of their teammates.

All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari and Pro Bowler Aaron Jones have been revealed as part of the NFL Top 100 tonight. Both are star players for the Packers offense.

Bakhtiari was the first to be revealed. He comes in at No. 36 on the list. Jones is at No. 30, up three positions from last year.

It’s perhaps a little surprising that Bakhtiari isn’t ranked higher. Not only does he play a premium position at left tackle, but he’s also one of the very best in the league, and has been for multiple years. In the NFL.com article, it notes that he only allowed one sack on 758 snaps last season. He was also named a first-team All-Pro. It doesn’t get much better than that.

It’s unsurprising to see Jones make the top 30. There’s good reason why the Packers re-signed him this offseason. They don’t often give running backs second contracts, no matter how talented they are, so the fact they worked out a new deal with Jones shows his importance to Matt LaFleur’s offense.

Since LaFleur became head coach, Jones has played in 30 regular-season games for the Packers. In that time, he’s put up 3,017 total yards and 30 touchdowns. That means under LaFleur, he’s averaging just over 100 total yards and one touchdown per game. Incredible.

The top 10 of the list will be revealed next week, and we can likely expect to see a couple of Packers. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are yet to be revealed in this year’s list, and there’s a very strong chance they will be part of the top 10.
