Three players to watch in the Green Bay Packers’ preseason game versus the Buffalo Bills.

The Green Bay Packers will wrap up their preseason on Saturday afternoon when they visit the Buffalo Bills.

If the first two games are anything to go by, we won’t see many of the Packers’ starters against the Bills. Instead, expect to see players on the roster bubble aiming to secure a spot on the 53-man roster.

Here are three Packers to watch against the Bills.

Jordan Love

Love isn’t on the roster bubble but it could be his final opportunity to get some live game action this season, barring an injury to Aaron Rodgers.

Assuming Love has recovered fully from the shoulder injury that kept him out last week, this will be a good test for him up against the Bills’ starting defense.

A year from now, Love could be QB1 ready to make his first regular-season start. These reps will all help his development.

Isaiah McDuffie

De’Vondre Campbell, Krys Barnes, Oren Burks, and Ty Summers will all likely make the Packers’ initial 53-man roster. Can rookie Isaiah McDuffie force the Packers to keep a fifth inside linebacker?

Green Bay could decide to keep McDuffie regardless as he was a draft pick, but that’s far from a guarantee.

Josh Allen and the Bills’ starters will be out there in this game, so McDuffie will get a huge test, and a big opportunity to show what he can do.

Yosh Nijman

Yosh Nijman has been impressive this summer and could potentially secure a roster spot ahead of Dennis Kelly at tackle. According to Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated, Nijman has only allowed one pressure on 55 pass-protecting snaps in the preseason. You can’t ask for much more than that.

Nijman has come a long way and shown some significant improvements to his game, and it might be enough to make the 53-man roster.

Hopefully he can finish the preseason strong. With a good performance against Bills starting pass rushers, he can potentially do enough to earn a spot on the roster.
