Three bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers’ regular-season opener versus the New Orleans Saints.

Last season, the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints were the top two seeds in the NFC. They now meet in their regular-season opener on Sunday afternoon.

The game was originally scheduled to be played at the Superdome, but due to Hurricane Ida, it had to be moved to another stadium. The Saints will now “host” the Packers at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After weeks of training camp reports and many months of a long offseason headlined by the drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ future, it feels so good to arrive at Week 1 of the regular season. It’s here that the talking stops, and the Packers get to go out there and begin what they hope will be a special season. Getting to play in front of the fans again will be huge.

The Packers defeated the Saints on the road last year and will be hoping to kick off the new season with an important victory over an NFC rival. It would be the perfect start for Matt LaFleur’s team.

We’re less than a week away from kickoff. Here are three bold predictions for Green Bay’s season opener against New Orleans.
