The Packers’ defense gets a huge boost with Darnell Savage active in Week 2.

The Green Bay Packers have released their full list of inactives for their Week 2 game against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

And there’s plenty of good news.

Two important starters will be active for the Packers, safety Darnell Savage and guard Lucas Patrick. Savage missed part of last week’s loss to the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder injury, while Patrick suffered a concussion late in the game.

Here’s the Packers’ full list of inactives for tonight’s game, according to the team’s official website:

Packers inactives vs. Lions Week 2

  • TE Josiah Deguara
  • LB La’Darius Hamilton
  • OL Jake Hanson
  • DL Jack Heflin
  • CB Shemar Jean-Charles
  • S Vernon Scott

Tight end Josiah Deguara, who suffered a concussion in Week 1, isn’t ready to return tonight. He’s officially inactive.

New signing La’Darius Hamilton, who was brought in with Za’Darius Smith going on injured reserve, won’t play tonight.

Backup safety Vernon Scott had already been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. He was able to practice this week, which is a good sign.

The Lions will be without top wide receiver Tyrell Williams and defensive end Kevin Strong.

Star running back D’Andre Swift, who was listed as questionable on the injury report due to a groin issue, will be active. Former Packer Jamaal Williams will also play after dealing with a chest injury.

We’re all set for an important game for both teams. Green Bay and Detroit enter 0-1. The losing team will be off to the worst possible start with work to do to remain in contention later in the season.

Under the lights with the return of fans at Lambeau Field, this should be a great game and a huge opportunity for the Packers to make fans forget about last week’s performance.
