Three players the Packers should make a trade offer for before the deadline.

In little over a week, the NFL’s trading window slams shut. Between now and then, contending teams have the opportunity to add a missing piece to help push for a Super Bowl. In a year many are calling the ‘Last Dance’ for the Green Bay Packers, they should absolutely be buyers at the deadline.

In recent years, the Packers have quite consistently been rumored to be interested in trading for a player before the deadline, but these deals rarely actually happen. It often ends as a matter of ‘what if?’ for the Packers when the season is over.

At 6-1, Green Bay is well positioned to win the NFC North and compete for home-field advantage. The 7-0 Arizona Cardinals stand in their way, both this week and in the NFC standings overall. They are team very much all-in after some big moves such as signing J.J. Watt and trading for Zach Ertz.

The Packers don’t need to mortgage their future for a trade, but they should be willing to be aggressive and make a move if the opportunity presents itself.

If I were GM Brian Gutekunst, here are three players I’d be making calls about this week.
