The Green Bay Packers face a tough task on Thursday Night Football.

With a number of the team’s most important players not available this week, the Packers will have to dig deep to beat the undefeated Arizona Cardinals.

Not often has Green Bay entered a game as underdogs this season. This is one of those rare occasions.

Packers injury report vs. Cardinals Week 8

Davante Adams is almost certainly ruled out as he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week. Allen Lazard is also out as he’s on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Green Bay could once again be without defensive starters Kevin King and Preston Smith, who are both listed as questionable on the injury report.

Packers vs. Cardinals odds, spread, over/under & betting pick Week 8

The deck is stacked against the Packers tonight, so it’s no surprise they are 6.5-point underdogs against the Cardinals, according to WynnBET’s latest odds. The over/under for the game is set at 50.0 points.

Green Bay will be without David Bakhtiari, Jaire Alexander, Davante Adams, Za’Darius Smith, and Josh Myers in a matchup against the NFL’s top-ranked team. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry also won’t be there. On the road on a short week, it’s hardly the recipe for a victory.

That said, sometimes this team plays at its best when its back is against the wall.

But that would be an upset. The Cardinals are on fire, which is why they could win by a touchdown or more and cover the spread.
