It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers host the Seattle Seahawks this afternoon and football weather has arrived.

The Packers have played six of their opening nine games on the road, which means the majority of their remaining games will be played at Lambeau Field. And just in time for the weather to turn colder.

Heavy snow has been falling in Green Bay, and there’s no better sight than Lambeau Field in snow.

It really doesn’t get much better than this.

The weather forecast seems to indicate snow likely won’t be an issue later on, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get to enjoy the beautiful weather in these photos and videos.

Even if there isn’t snow later on, it’s set to be a cold afternoon at Lambeau Field. Consider that advantage Packers. It’s a home-field advantage like no other.

Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert summed it up perfectly.

And as Lombardi Ave’s Daire Carragher wrote this week, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has struggled in his career at Lambeau Field. Wilson will be tested today as he comes up against a Green Bay defense that is on fire, in tough conditions, in his first game back from injury.

It remains to be seen whether there will be any snow at Lambeau Field in the late-afternoon kickoff, but it’s going to be a cold day at Lambeau Field. It should make for a fascinating game between two teams that have had a great rivalry in recent years.

For the Packers, a win would get them back on track after they lost without Aaron Rodgers a week ago. The Seahawks desperately need a win to remain in the wild-card race. Wilson’s return will help them.

How much of an impact will the weather make at Lambeau Field today?
