The Green Bay Packers finally have some good news when it comes to injuries.

In this afternoon’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, the Packers will get three key players back from injury. The team has announced that running back Aaron Jones, edge rusher Rashan Gary, and wide receiver Allen Lazard are all active to play the Rams.

This is a huge boost for the Packers with three starters returning.

The Packers will need to run the football to have success against the Rams’ defense. Getting Jones back takes the pressure off AJ Dillon.

Jones, Gary, and Lazard all had big games in January’s divisional-round victory over the Rams, so it’s only fitting that all three will be available today.

Jones had 113 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in that game. Gary had 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits. Lazard had four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown including a 58-yard score that sealed the victory for Green Bay.

Sunday’s game might be the toughest remaining on the schedule. The Rams are coming off two straight defeats, but their bye week will have given them a chance to put things right and get healthy. Even with the Rams’ recent struggles, this is a tough game for the Packers.

The Packers are already without Za’Darius Smith, Jaire Alexander, David Bakhtiari, and Elgton Jenkins. Getting Jones, Gary, and Lazard all back will help.

Green Bay is aiming to avoid consecutive regular-season defeats. It would be the first time under head coach Matt LaFleur that the team had lost two in a row.
