The Green Bay Packers were able to beat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, meaning they’ve now swept the NFC West during the 2021 campaign – which is widely considered to be the toughest division in football.
The team played well in all three phases of the game.
Let’s give out some grades for the 36-28 win over Matthew Stafford and Co.
Packers Offensive Grade: A-
The Packers’ offense in Week 12 was very good, despite not having a very good ground game. The offense had no turnovers and when they were in rhythm, they had a good chance of scoring. Even though the team punted five times, there were enough big plays and scoring to warrant the grade.
Individual Grades:
- Randall Cobb: A-
- Aaron Rodgers: A-
- Davante Adams: A-
- Billy Turner: B+
- AJ Dillon: B
- Marquez Valdes Scantling: B
- Royce Newman: C-
- Aaron Jones: D-
- Yosh Nijman: D-
Packers Defensive Grade: B+
After a bit of an off-week in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers’ defense got back to their play-making ways that have filled this season. Most of the yardage was given up on just a few misstep plays, and I think it’s quite impressive that they held the Rams to one of their lower point totals of the season.
Individual Grades:
- Rasul Douglas: A
- Krys Barnes: A
- Kenny Clark: B+
- Rashan Gary: B+
- Eric Stokes: B-
- Henry Black: C+
- De’Vondre Campbell: C+
- Adrian Amos: C+
- Dean Lowry: D-
Packers Special Teams Grade: C+
Can the Packers go one week without a special teams blunder? I love Mason Crosby as much as the next Packers fan, but he’s getting hard to defend because he leads the league in missed kicks currently. Also, I really wish the team had a good return man. At least we have Corey Bojorquez.
Individual Grades:
- Corey Bojorquez: A+
- Mason Crosby: B-
- Amari Rodgers: C
- Randall Cobb: C-
