Rasul Douglas: Re-signed

The Packers have to re-sign Rasul Douglas, right?

It’s hard to believe Douglas was on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad not getting any game time. He’s been outstanding for the Packers with eight pass defenses in seven games. He made the game-winning interception against the Cardinals, the team that let him go, and made a crucial pick-six against the Los Angeles Rams last week.

There’s no reason why Douglas can’t be a starter in this defense beyond this year.

Corey Bojorquez: Re-signed

GM Brian Gutekunst recognized the need for change at punter in the summer and he made a great move to trade for Corey Bojorquez. Bojorquez has been about the only good thing on special teams this season, averaging 47.8 yards per punt, good for eighth in the NFL.

He’s been consistent every game and the Packers are lucky to have him. Bojorquez needs to be re-signed.

Isaac Yiadom: Walks

According to Pro Football Reference, Issac Yiadom hasn’t played a defensive snap in his past four games. The fact he’s allowed a completion percentage of 83.3 percent and a passer rating of 118.7 is probably the reason why.

Whitney Mercilus: Walks

Whitney Mercilus only played in four games for the Packers before suffering a season-ending injury, but he made an impact in that time. Unfortunately, it might be the only four games he plays in Green Bay.
