Week 15: at Baltimore Ravens

For a while, this matchup has concerned me. But the way the Baltimore Ravens have been playing offensively in recent weeks, I like the Packers in this one.

Baltimore’s passing offense has been a mess over the past month or so. The Ravens have now gone four games without scoring 20 points, which is a real surprise. In his past three games, Lamar Jackson has gone 69/112 for 656 yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions with a passer rating of 64.43.

The most important thing for the Packers’ defense will be to limit the Ravens’ dominant rushing attack.

But again, Packers fans should have some confidence. Green Bay ranks ninth against the run this season. QBs who can run have caused this defense problems in previous seasons, but not so much in 2021 so far. Kyler Murray only had 21 rushing yards against Joe Barry’s defense.

Of course, Lamar Jackson is the best rushing QB in the league. This will be a real challenge for Green Bay’s defense. But if the Packers can force the Ravens to have to lean on the passing game — building an early lead will be part of that — they can get the better of this matchup.

It should be a close game, but considering the recent struggles of the Ravens’ offense, I like the Packers to get the win on the road.

Prediction: Green Bay 24, Baltimore 21 (11-3)
