It’s still the regular season for the Green Bay Packers and most fans aren’t thinking about the 2022 NFL Draft, especially with Green Bay having such a successful season so far. Most fans are focused on getting some key players back and making a Super Bowl run.

Some fans may be looking beyond the regular season a bit and thinking about the future cap situation, which will undoubtedly bring a lot of change to Green Bay. What’s going to happen with Aaron Rodgers? Will the Packers be able to extend Davante Adams and Jaire Alexander?

There’s a ton to be thinking about as a Packer fan, but I think now is a perfect time to be looking at mock drafts as well. With bowl season coming in the next few weeks, Packer fans can get an idea of who the draft pundits think would be a good fit with the Packers in the 2022 Draft.

Then, we can be on the lookout for some of those players during the bowl games if they are playing in them, especially since bowl season is the most common time to watch teams outside of their favorite collegiate team.

So with that in mind, here are some of the mock drafts from around the internet to get us thinking a bit about who the Packers could take in the NFL Draft in April.

PFF has the Packers taking an offensive lineman

OT Bernhard Raimann – Central Michigan

It may seem a little odd that they would have the Packers taking an offensive tackle with their first pick. Elgton Jenkins could very well miss some time with his torn ACL, but Billy Turner has been solid this year and is still under contract for next year.

You would assume Bak and Turner are the tackles of the future, but maybe taking Raimann would provide the Packers some flexibility to put Jenkins back at guard again.

CBS Sports has the Packers drafting Jordy 2.0?

WR Drake London – USC

Chris Trapasso from CBS Sports has the Packers going receiver with their first pick. London was hurt in late October, forcing him to miss the rest of the season and he still won the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Year award.

Trapasso also compares London to former Packers receiver Jordy Nelson.

"“There are definitely Jordy Nelson vibes to London, a supremely talented rebounder of the football down the field with deceptive athleticism.”"

I’m sure there are plenty of Green Bay fans that would love this pick.

Sporting News also has the Packers going receiver

WR Treylon Burks – Arkansas

Vinnie Iyer also has Green Bay going with a receiver next year. Burks is a big (6-foot-3) receiver and has a lot of speed. Burks has 66 catches for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, helping Arkansas to an 8-4 record. From Iyer:

"“Regardless of what happens with Davante Adams in free agency, the Packers are long overdue to use a high draft pick to either complement him better or to try to Burks is a huge size-speed target with reliable big hands to match.”"

I’m sure fans would love to pair Burks with Adams rather than use him to replace him.

The Draft Network has the Packers solidifying the offensive line

OL Thayer Munford – Ohio State

Joe Marino from The Draft Network has the Packers taking a versatile offensive lineman. Imagine that. According to Marino, Thayer has logged over 3,000 snaps played and has appeared at both tackle spots and left guard.

A versatile offensive lineman who is from Ohio State? Checks two boxes for the Packers. As we’ve seen this year, you can never have enough offensive linemen. Munford could come in and push Royce Newman for that starting right guard spot as well, after his rough rookie season.
