Winning out will give the Green Bay Packers a great chance of securing the number one seed and home-field advantage in the playoffs, but they’ll also need a little bit of help.

The Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the team’s biggest challengers for the top seed, while the Minnesota Vikings are just about still in the NFC North race.

With that in mind, here are three teams for Packers fans to root for in Week 14:

Pittsburgh Steelers (at Minnesota Vikings)

If the Pittsburgh Steelers can go into U.S. Bank Stadium on Thursday night and beat the Vikings, it will mean Green Bay could clinch the NFC North title on Sunday night.

One more Vikings loss means the Packers can wrap up the division by defeating the Bears.

The NFC North race is all but over. With some help from the Steelers this week, the Packers can wrap up their third straight division crown with four games still to play.

Buffalo Bills (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Tom Brady has had his way against the Buffalo Bills throughout his career, but now would be a good time for the Bills to get some revenge.

A Tampa Bay loss to Buffalo would give Green Bay the opportunity to move one game ahead with four to play. That could be important when it comes to playoff seeding.

Los Angeles Rams (at Arizona Cardinals)

For the Packers to get the top seed, they need the Cardinals to lose one more game than them. They have a tough game ahead as they host the Los Angeles Rams, who snapped a three-game losing run with an impressive win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

If the Rams can build on that performance, they’ll have a chance.

If all goes to plan, the Packers could take over first place in the NFC this week. But they’ll need a little help.
