Three free agents the Packers absolutely must re-sign in the offseason.

With limited salary cap room to work with, re-signing players will be no easy task for the Green Bay Packers this upcoming season.

Before then, they’ll need to create a lot of cap room whether that’s through releasing players, restructuring deals, or extending contracts to push money into future years. In all likelihood, the Packers will be doing all of the above.

At some point, they’ll need enough cap space to be able to re-sign some players. Giving all of their top free agents new deals won’t be possible and tough decisions await. For that reason, I’ve avoided the obvious names like Davante Adams and De’Vondre Campbell in this article. It’s clear why the Packers would want to re-sign them, but doing so will depend on the salary cap situation.

We’re still a few months away from the start of free agency, but before long the Packers will be making big decisions for 2022 and beyond. Once they’ve created enough cap room, it will be time to re-sign some of their important free agents.

Here are three upcoming free agents the team must do absolutely everything to re-sign in March.
