Week 16: Cleveland Browns (Christmas Day)

Here comes a big AJ Dillon game.

For the most part, the Browns have defended the run well this season. Their defense ranks No. 11 against the run this year. But this will be a big test up against the Packers’ rushing attack in what should be a cold Lambeau Field on Christmas Day.

Dillon is really beginning to have a significant role in this offense. Sunday night against the Bears, Dillon dominated the backfield with 15 carries for 71 yards compared to just five carries for Aaron Jones. Green Bay is going to lean on Dillon, particularly late in games when it’s looking to close out victories.

The Browns have had their share of struggles stopping the run this year, too. In a 45-7 loss to the New England Patriots, they gave up 184 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, with Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson putting up 100 yards and two scores from 20 carries.

If Dillon and Jones get going in this game, it will play perfectly into the Packers’ hands by opening up passing lanes. And you can never truly go all-in to stop the run when Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are on the field. Give Adams one-on-one situations and it’s game over.

Packers win on Christmas Day.

Prediction: Green Bay 30, Cleveland 21 (12-3)
