The Green Bay Packers know that winning each of their remaining four games will be enough to secure the NFC’s top seed and home-field advantage in the playoffs.

However, winning all four is anything but guaranteed.

It sure would be nice if Matt LaFleur’s team could get some help along the way. This week, there are three teams Packers fans should be cheering on to help in the push for playoffs.

Detroit Lions (vs. Arizona Cardinals)

The Detroit Lions came through for us when we needed them to defeat the Minnesota Vikings, but it might be a little too big of an ask to expect them to do it again versus the Arizona Cardinals.

This is a real mismatch. Yes, the Lions are at home, but they are hosting one of the strongest teams in the entire NFL.

The Packers and Cardinals are tied, although Green Bay holds the tiebreaker. If Arizona fell a game behind Green Bay with three to play, it would be a game-changer in the NFC race.

New Orleans Saints (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

The New Orleans Saints have given the Tampa Bay Buccaneers some problems over the past couple of years, but they will be underdogs on the road when they play Sunday night.

Again, the Bucs aren’t a concern should the Packers win out. But a Green Bay loss would open the door for Tampa Bay to move ahead.

A win for New Orleans would be a big help.

Chicago Bears (at Minnesota Vikings)

This game will be played on Monday Night Football, so it could be irrelevant by then. If the Packers beat the Baltimore Ravens, they will be crowned NFC North champions for the third straight year.

However, should Green Bay lose, it can still win the NFC North this week. Regardless of what happens with the Packers’ game, should the Vikings lose any of their remaining four, it’s game over in the NFC North.
