3. Arizona Cardinals

This might seem a little low for the Arizona Cardinals, but something isn’t right with this team. Yes, they defeated the Dallas Cowboys a couple of weeks ago but outside of that, they have struggled in a big way of late.

At one stage the Cardinals were 7-0 and Kyler Murray was one of the frontrunners for the MVP award. But they couldn’t be entering the playoffs with less momentum having lost four of their previous five games, including a 38-30 defeat to the struggling Seattle Seahawks, costing them the NFC West title. They were also blown out by the Detroit Lions a few weeks ago.

Arizona’s offense has scored 30 points just once in the past five weeks. Perhaps the loss of DeAndre Hopkins is proving too much to overcome. The Cardinals will be hoping he can return for the playoffs.

The Cardinals are too talented to be losing this many games. They’ve also shown they can turn it on for a one-off game at any moment, as we saw when they defeated the Cowboys in Week 17.

But unless the Cardinals can rediscover their early-season form, they will struggle to keep pace with the red-hot Packers in the divisional round. They need to get there first by eliminating the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night.
