Taking a look at different playoff scenarios for the Packers.

The playoffs are here. For the Green Bay Packers, they will have to wait a little longer to find their opponents in the divisional round.

The Packers can play any one of four teams in the divisional round, and five different possibilities in the NFC title game should they make it that far.

But what would be the best-case scenario in each round, and also the worst?

Divisional round

There are only two teams from the wild-card round the Packers will avoid next week, and that’s the two-seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the three-seed Dallas Cowboys. They could play any of the remaining four.

Best-case scenario: Philadelphia Eagles

Not an easy game, but no playoff matchup is. Still, the seventh-seed Eagles coming to Lambeau Field next week would have to be considered the best-case scenario. Green Bay would need to have an answer for the NFL’s top rushing attack, but an early lead could put the game in the hands of Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia’s 25th-ranked passing offense.

Worst-case scenario: Los Angeles Rams

A repeat of last year’s divisional round is in play if the three home teams hold serve this week. The NFC West champs would present a tougher challenge than last January with Matthew Stafford in at quarterback.
