Ten key Packers players who could be gone in 2022.

Another heartbreaking loss in the playoffs for the Green Bay Packers and, just like that, we’re back to the uncertainty of the offseason.

A year ago, the Packers pushed a lot of money into future years to help go all-in for the 2021 season. They ended up losing at home in the divisional round.

Unfortunately, many key players could depart Green Bay this upcoming offseason.

Note: All salary-cap numbers are according to Spotrac.

10. Allen Lazard

Allen Lazard has put together arguably his best year in Green Bay, finishing with 513 yards and eight touchdowns. He only caught one pass in the divisional round but Aaron Rodgers didn’t see him wide open on what could have led to a game-winning field goal.

Lazard is a restricted free agent this offseason. Given Green Bay’s salary-cap situation — the team is around $38 million over the cap — one has to wonder whether he’ll be back.

9. Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb is one of the only Packers wide receivers still under contract in 2022, but he has a cap hit of $9.5 million. It was Aaron Rodgers who wanted Cobb back. If Rodgers returns and Green Bay goes all-in, Cobb could also be back.

But what if Rodgers is gone? The potential cap savings could help the Packers.
