2. Davante Adams

Davante Adams is the best wide receiver in the NFL but is this the end of an era? Like many other key players, Adams is a free agent this spring. While using the franchise tag is a possibility, if the Packers can’t keep the core of this team together, would it make much sense?

If they are to re-sign Adams, it may only make sense if Rodgers is also back. If not, starting a rebuild could be the way to go.

Adams had another incredible season with 123 catches for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns. If this is it for Adams, it could be a while before we see a Packers wide receiver this talented again.

1. Aaron Rodgers

Well, the beautiful mystery continues. Will Rodgers stay, will he retire, or will he be traded?

“I don’t want to be part of a rebuild if I’m going to keep playing,” Rodgers said following the game.

But based on the salary cap, it will be close to impossible for the Packers keep many of their star players in 2022.

And if that’s the case, it’s tough to see how Rodgers will want to return. Whether he retires or is traded, it’s very possible Aaron Rodgers’ time in Green Bay is over.
