Cleveland Browns

Put Aaron Rodgers on the Cleveland Browns and they become one of the AFC favorites. From Rodgers’ perspective, the Browns are possibly the best realistic landing spot. They have a roster built to win now, they just need better QB play.

Cleveland had the fifth-ranked defense in 2021. According to ESPN, the Browns ranked third in pass rush win rate.

Rodgers would be protected by one of the league’s best offensive lines. Cleveland ranked fourth in pass block win rate and eighth in run block win rate, per ESPN. The Browns also had the fourth-ranked rushing offense led by Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

One area they could look to strengthen is the receiving room, but the Browns have over $28 million in cap room in 2022, per Over The Cap. Davante Adams is a free agent.

What could the Packers get in return?

Well, Cleveland owns the 11th overall pick in 2022. Maybe a couple of first-rounders, a couple of Day 2 picks, and a talented young player could be enough to make a deal.

If the Browns want to make the most of their talented roster, they need better QB play. Rodgers would be an ideal trade target, but the Packers would be able to ask for a lot in return.
