Davante Adams and De’Vondre Campbell headline a long list of unrestricted free agents for the Green Bay Packers this offseason.
The Packers need to clear around $40 million in cap space just to get back under the cap, so work needs to be done before they can even consider re-signing any of their best players.

That’s a lot of starters for this team and many key contributors.
Davante Adams and De’Vondre Campbell were first-team All-Pros this season. Rasul Douglas was named a Pro Bowl alternate.
Chandon Sullivan, Robert Tonyan, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Lucas Patrick were all starters this season. Dennis Kelly filled in for Billy Turner at right tackle and started in the divisional round against the San Francisco 49ers.
The tough reality for the Packers is that, given their salary cap situation, most players on that list will be playing elsewhere in 2022.
If the team is able to work on a big contract extension for either Adams or Campbell, it means there’s even less cap room to re-sign others.
Chances are they will be able to bring a few back. They could do with re-signing at least one wide receiver given how thin they currently are at the position with so many receivers hitting free agency.
