5. Kenny Clark

On the second year of his $70 million contract, Clark proved his worth with another great season. He wasn’t necessarily dominant from the interior, but his presence was constantly felt and, bear in mind opponents double-teamed him more than any other player on the Packers.

Clark continued defending the run at a high level and it’s assuring to see his pass-rushing take a big jump this season after he struggled (by his standards) in that department last year.

I feel like this is finally the year the Packers go out and get Kenny some actual interior help in the offseason. It’s a solid draft class for defensive tackles and if the Packers have some extra picks, it makes a ton of sense to go out and get a good one.

4. De’Vondre Campbell

De’Vondre Campbell gave the Packers something they’d been missing for years — a viable Mike linebacker. He was fully-deserving of his All-Pro honors, and it’s nice to see his play receive immediate recognition from the rest of the league.

Campbell had an all-time great tackling season, executing 146 tackles and missing only four, per Pro Football Reference. His 2.7% missed tackle rate was the best in the NFL.

I believe re-signing De’Vondre is a crucial move that Brian Gutekunst must make this offseason. It’s been a long time since the Packers have had a top quality middle linebacker. Now that they have one, they should hang onto him.

3. Rashan Gary

He may not have been an All-Pro like Campbell in fourth or both guys ahead of him on this list, but Rashan Gary proved that he is the future face of the Packers for years to come.

A dominant performance last Saturday against the 49ers capped off Gary’s breakout season, which we’ve been patiently awaiting since draft day in 2019.

With the chance that both Za’Darius and Preston Smith will be moving on after this season, Gary is set to become the Packers’ primary quarterback disruptor going forward, and he’s still only 24 years old.
