Four wide receiver targets for the Packers this offseason if Aaron Rodgers stays.

Regardless of if Aaron Rodgers plays for the Green Bay Packers next season or not, wide receiver will likely be one of the team’s biggest offseason needs.

Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Equanimeous St. Brown are unrestricted free agents. Allen Lazard is a restricted free agent. With limited cap room, the chances of re-signing all four are close to zero.

It’s unlikely Rodgers will want to stay in Green Bay if Adams is on his way out, so we can assume the Packers will franchise tag their All-Pro wide receiver if a long-term deal can’t be agreed. Maybe then they could also use a right-of-first-refusal tender on Lazard and hope he’s back.

Even if Adams and Lazard are back, wide receiver will still be a need assuming Valdes-Scantling and St. Brown sign elsewhere.

We’re set for another strong wide receiver draft class, so that will help. Free agency could also be an option if the Packers can create enough cap room.

In this scenario, we assume both Rodgers and Adams are back, putting the Packers in ‘all-in’ mode. That rules out receivers coming off significant injuries like Chris Godwin and Odell Beckham, who could miss a big chunk of 2022.

Here are four possible wide receiver targets for Green Bay this offseason. Note that they are in no particular order.
