Five dream targets for the Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The 2022 NFL Draft is less than two months away. Under general manager Brian Gutekunst, the Green Bay Packers have hit on many of their early-round selections such as Jaire Alexander, Rashan Gary, and Elgton Jenkins.

For now, we don’t know whether this is an all-in team or a rebuilding one. Aaron Rodgers’ future will determine that. Rodgers’ decision will impact how the Packers approach the draft.

Based on what we know now about the team’s top needs, let’s look at five dream targets for the Packers in the draft this spring.

Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia

Could Green Bay finally get Kenny Clark some much-needed help along the defensive line?

If Georgia defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is on the board at the bottom of the first round, Gutekunst may feel he has no other choice.

Wyatt is both an excellent run defender and pass rusher — he earned Pro Football Focus grades above 80 in both categories last season, the only interior defensive lineman in the SEC to achieve this.

After impressing at the Senior Bowl, Wyatt has been rising up draft boards and should be a first-rounder.

If he’s there at No. 28 overall, the Packers would be getting a defensive tackle who can start from Day 1 and with star potential.
